FSB becomes FSCA

The South African regulator, the Financial Services Board, is now the Financial Sector Conduct Authority - a dedicated market conduct regulator. The change has come as the new Twin Peaks model was enforced on 1 April 2018. A more centralised licensing system has been created where emphasis has been placed on the protection of the investor.
